Jason Magness
Brings decades of expedition racing experience to the team, and has tested the fuel across the globe in the most demanding conditions.
4 Hour Fuel started with one very public bonk in Fiji. The people behind it still line up for multi-day expedition races, trail ultras and 24-hour mountain bike worlds — and what they learn out there is what goes into the bag. Jason, Daniel and Chelsey finished 5th at the 2025 Adventure Racing World Championship, with many wins at AR World Series races along the way.

“I needed something simple, so I can focus on everything else.”
Developed the first iteration of 4 Hour Fuel after his spectacular bonk was filmed for all to see in World's Toughest Race: Eco-Challenge Fiji.
“I love that I don't have to think about eating at all, I just have to drink it and can feel it immediately - I call it my GO GO juice.”
